NEWS TEAMS OUTLINE

News teams are done every other week. They are worth 100 points. Students, read an article, rewrite it in their own words, then present it on Friday to the class.

*On Monday the students will be put into News Teams. (there are 4 teams)

*Students will loook through the newspaper and decide what article they are going to choose.

*After choosing what article, the students will need to read it carefully and underline any important points. (who,what, why, where, how)

*After reading the article carefully, The students will write a summary of what they read.

*The students will need to attach the article to their summary.

*Finally on Friday the students will present it to the class.
